Duudaart's Modern Multilayer Painting: Construction Criteria
The production process of our modern paintings is divided into multiple stages. Upon receiving the order, the image is split according to the number and position of panels and printed on matte coated paper using a continuous tone banner printer at 2400 dpi. Each individual sheet is then laminated with 30-micron matte PET to protect the print from atmospheric agents, moisture, and scratches! After a quality check of the print and protection, each sheet is mounted on MDF (medium-density fiberboard) panels using non-toxic vinyl glue, and the sheet is folded around the panel to cover the sides and part of the back. A second white laminated sheet is then applied to the back, with barcodes to identify each unique panel. Once the glue is dry, each panel is drilled according to the template and layout of the painting. Vertical panels are drilled on both sides—on the back for inserting spacers and on the front for attaching to the horizontal panels using connectors. Horizontal panels are only drilled on the back. Next, the mounting bar that will hang on the wall and support the entire modern artwork is drilled.
The instructions are printed and all hardware is sorted: wall plugs, wall spacers, and panel spacers. Each panel is protected on the front with a PET sheet to prevent damage and scratches during transport. After another quality check, everything is wrapped in bubble paper and boxed with protective cardboard corners for shipping! Every production step is monitored and recorded to ensure the quality of each individual piece. Our modern paintings are available in 200 different compositions and sizes. As seen in the sectional photos, the overlapping of panels using spacers is clearly visible!
Assembly Steps
- Take measurements and fix the wooden support to the wall using the provided wall plugs;
- Insert the wooden dowels into the holes on the bar.
- Place the vertical panels marked with numbers and secure them with the provided screws.
- Attach the horizontal panels by overlapping them on the vertical ones using the appropriate spacers.
Our printing machines ensure excellent photographic definition at 2400 dpi. The matte laminated prints are then mounted on MDF Light wooden panels and drilled for spacer application. All production takes place within our company, following every stage of processing—printing, drilling, final inspection, and shipping, which usually takes 24/48 hours.
